Innoskart project presented as good practice | VReduMED's role in European cooperation

At the request of the Department of International Territorial Development Cooperation, Zsolt Keresztúri, cluster manager, gave a presentation on the cluster's international projects and the opportunities they offer.

The event will showcase good practices from Hungary that can inspire future collaborations and grant initiatives.

Innoskart – connecting to the European innovation space as a cluster

During the presentation, Zsolt Keresztúri showed how the Innoskart Digital Cluster acts as a connecting point between players in the innovation ecosystem, focusing on strengthening cooperation between universities, businesses, local governments, and research institutes. Particular emphasis was placed on the role the cluster plays in actively participating in European Union programs, exchanging experiences, and adapting best practices.

VReduMED: digital and VR-based solutions in healthcare training

Among the best practices presented, the VReduMED project, implemented within the framework of Interreg Central Europe, was given a prominent place. The project aims to reform healthcare vocational training with the help of modern, virtual reality-based educational tools and methods. The project aims to make the training of healthcare workers more effective, thereby contributing to the sustainability and people-centeredness of healthcare systems.

Domestic best practice at international level

The VReduMED project is a good example of how a digital cluster can proactively participate in the implementation of European development policy objectives. Innoskart's role is not merely coordinative: it connects actors, transfers knowledge, and facilitates the establishment of new collaborations.

In his presentation, Zsolt Keresztúri emphasized that participation in Interreg programs is not only an opportunity to attract funding, but also a means for Hungarian actors to actively shape future digital and innovation policies while strengthening their presence at the international level.

It was an honor for Innoskart to present the role of the cluster and the VReduMED project as a best practice at such a prestigious forum. We are confident that sharing our experiences will inspire other domestic actors and give new impetus to international regional development cooperation.
